Job summary

gpac partners with a well-established structural steel organization to recruit a Structural Steel Connection Engineer who will lead connection design on commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 3 years of structural steel connection design experience.
• Strong understanding of AISC, AWS D1.1, IBC, OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Design structural steel connections per standards and project specs.
• Perform engineering calculations for bolted, welded, moment, brace, truss, stair, and misc connections.
• Develop safe, economical, fabrication-friendly designs.
• Collaborate with PMs, detailers, fabricators, and engineers of record.
