Job summary

gpac is seeking a Structural Design Engineer in Atlanta to perform structural analysis for steel connection design, review BIM models, and contribute to erection engineering on large industrial projects.

Candidates should hold a civil/structural degree with 4+ years of experience; EIT/PE/SE is preferred. Strong communication and detail orientation, plus proficiency in Ram/RISA/Excel/Revit, are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• EIT, PE, or SE certification required.
• 4+ years of structural engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Structural analysis for delegated steel connection design projects.
• Design steel connections, miscellaneous steel, and erection engineering.
• Develop calculations, review shop drawings, prepare submittals and RFIs.
• Review 3-D BIM models to aid in design and shop drawing reviews.
