Clark Construction Group in the United States seeks a Quality Control Specialist (Structural) to lead detailed inspections of earthwork, foundations, structural steel, and concrete, ensuring compliance with plans, codes, and shop drawings on active projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), minimum five years in QC on commercial or industrial sites, and strong collaboration with engineers, trades, and management to drive safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management or related field. Previous and relevant work experience in place of degrees is applicable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control or construction on commercial, government or industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect concrete work including formwork, rebar placement, testing, and cylinder preparation.
• Verify structural steel erection, including dimensions, connections, torque, alignment, and NDT/UT coordination.
• Oversee site preparation, excavation depths, soil compaction, footing installations.
• Review and maintain records for all structural materials to confirm compliance.
• Maintain QC records: ITPs, daily reports, NCRs, punch lists.
• Ensure work meets IBC, ACI, AWS, and project specs.
