Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Specialist (Structural) to conduct detailed inspections and testing of earthwork, foundations, structural steel, and concrete, ensuring compliance with plans, specs, codes, and shop drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections and testing of structural components including earthwork, foundations, structural steel, and concrete to verify compliance with project plans, specs, building codes and shop drawings.
• Monitor and document concrete work, formwork, rebar, concrete delivery tickets, sampling, slump tests, air content, temperature checks and cylinder prep for strength testing.
• Verify structural steel erection quality including dimensions, bolt connections, torque, plumbs, levels, alignment and welding inspection; coordinate NDT/UT testing as needed.
• Oversee site preparation, excavation depths, soil compaction, footing/pile cap installations, and maintain records for materials and certifications.
• Maintain Inspection and Test Plans, Daily Quality Reports, non-conformance and punch lists; ensure adherence to IBC, ACI, AWS, and project specs.
