Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Structural QA/QC Technical Reviewer to join our Los Angeles team. You will assess proposed structural plans and specs, ensuring compliance with district standards and quality of documentation.

This role focuses on supporting educational facility projects in the LA area. The ideal candidate has a structural engineering background with at least 10 years of experience and a CA PE license; a CA Structural Engineer license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field; up to 2 years substitute allowed.
• Ten years of full-time professional structural engineering experience in educational facilities.
• CA Professional Engineer license required; CA Structural Engineer license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical review of proposed structural plans and specs.
• Provide comments on adherence to District standards and documentation quality.
• Support development of Design Guidelines and School Design Guide materials.
• Coordinate with Design and A/E teams and other District units.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
