Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is hiring a Senior Structural Project Manager in Newport Beach, CA. The role requires a licensed PE with 12+ years in water resources, and a strong track record as a Seller-Doer.

You will manage projects across dams, energy, fisheries, infrastructure and natural resources, mentor staff, pursue new business, and contribute to technical excellence and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited University.
• Master's degree in structural engineering preferred.
• 15+ years of structural design experience in water resources.
• 10+ years of project management experience preferred.
• PE license required; SE license preferred; NCEES registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the preparation of complete project documents from design development reports through construction documents.
• Independently evaluate, select, and apply advanced structural design techniques to projects.
• Effectively manage multi-discipline teams and assign tasks.
• Analyze existing data through field investigations and review of as-built plans and reports.
• Identify project opportunities and assist with proposals for engineering services.
• Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for projects.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
