Providence Engineering is seeking a Project Manager, Structural to organize, manage, and plan structural projects of various sizes. Lead project teams of engineers to deliver timely, on-budget solutions while coordinating with clients, design staff, and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in structural-related field required.
• Professional engineer (PE/SE) licensure preferred.
• 8–15 years of related engineering experience preferred.
• Strong budgeting and cost containment skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with structural analysis software (RISA 3D, RAM, Tedds).
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist in securing project work through proposals to new and existing clients; eventually works exclusively on own work
• Lead teams to ensure projects are prepared on time, on budget, and in accordance with code and client requirements
• Oversee engineers to ensure projects are delivered within scope and constraints
• Mentor engineers to promote technical development and efficiency
• Prepare and review drawings and calculations for quality control
• Develop and maintain electronic and hard-copy project records and project files
• Manage project budgets and invoicing; pursue aged accounts receivable when needed
• Establish and maintain client relationships for business development
