Qualifications

  • 6+ years of structural engineering experience in building design.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Structural Engineering Project Manager, you will lead projects from concept through construction while serving as both a technical and client-facing leader.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing structural building projects from inception through completion
  • Leading project teams and coordinating engineering deliverables
  • Overseeing analysis and design of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures
  • Reviewing calculations, drawings, and construction documents
  • Coordinating with BIM teams, architects, contractors, and ownership groups
  • Conducting site observations and providing construction-phase support
  • Reviewing shop drawings and responding to field questions
  • Managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and additional service requests
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Mentoring and developing junior engineers
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 6+ years of structural engineering experience within building design
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Experience designing structures utilizing steel, concrete, wood, and masonry
  • Experience with renovations, seismic retrofits, and structural assessments
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams and mentor junior engineers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Structural Engineering
  • Structural Engineer (SE) license
  • Experience leading complex commercial, residential, mixed-use, institutional, or hospitality projects
