Job summary
Champion Integrated Building Solutions is seeking a Senior Structural Project Engineer to lead the structural design from concept through final production. You will coordinate with project management, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver cost-effective, manufacturable solutions while mentoring junior engineers.
You will ensure designs meet applicable codes and customer requirements, participate in design reviews, and support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering, safety,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with Structural focus.
- PE license preferred or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
- 7–10 years of structural engineering experience.
- Experience designing steel structures, modular buildings, industrial facilities, or fabricated systems.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or fabrication operations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the structural engineering and design from concept through production.
- Develop structural calculations and analyses per codes and customer specs.
- Review drawings to coordinate with structural systems.
- Prepare and approve drawings, fabrication packages, and calculations.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate with PM, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customers.
- Support continuous improvement in engineering efficiency and quality.
