Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Structural Senior Project Engineer to join our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Charlotte, NC. You will manage structural engineering and consulting projects, lead technical investigations, and coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors on rehabilitation and construction projects.

You will mentor junior staff, oversee field work, and ensure reports meet professional standards while driving project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering and consulting projects from setup through completion.
• Conduct field investigations, assessments, and condition evaluations of structures.
• Develop repair and rehabilitation designs and peer review of calculations and drawings.
• Coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams and oversee project communications.
• Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to clients.
