Job summary

ECS Group seeks a Structural Senior Project Engineer to join our Roanoke, VA team, leading structural investigations, assessments, and repair design while managing projects and mentoring junior staff in a collaborative consulting environment.

Responsibilities include client interaction, field investigations, testing, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical solutions across various facility types. A PE license and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural engineering and consulting projects from setup through completion.
• Coordinate project teams and direct site activities with field staff, subcontractors, and senior managers.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule, scope, and budget objectives.
• Prepare and review proposals, change orders, budgets, and invoices.
• Monitor project progress and communicate schedule updates, field activities, and potential budget impacts.
