ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Structural Senior Project Engineer for our Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team in Raleigh, NC. You will lead structural investigations, design, testing, and project management while mentoring junior staff and working closely with clients, architects, contractors, engineers, and owners.

This client-facing role emphasizes project leadership, business development, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams within a growing engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• 5+ years of related structural engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; leadership and mentoring skills.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering, assessment, testing, and consulting services.
• Conduct field investigations, structural assessments, and condition evaluations.
• Interpret drawings, calculations, specifications, and data; oversee drafting and design.
• Develop testing plans and direct specialized structural testing programs.
• Interpret testing results, identify deficiencies, and propose corrective actions.
• Perform structural design, repair design, rehabilitation design, and peer review.
• Maintain knowledge of building codes, standards, and industry best practices.
• Manage projects from setup through completion and coordinate teams.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
