Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Charlotte, NC seeks a Structural Senior Project Engineer to lead structural investigations, design, testing, and rehabilitation projects within its Southeast Building Science + Infrastructure team. You will mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, and oversee projects from inception to completion.

This client-facing role requires strong project management, engineering judgment, and collaboration with architects, contractors, engineers, and owners to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
5+ years of related experience.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.

Responsibilities

Manage structural engineering and consulting projects from setup through completion.
Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate field activities.
Prepare and review proposals, budgets, and invoices.
Mentor junior staff and supervise field investigations, testing, and design work.
Communicate project milestones and provide technical guidance to clients.
