Stantec is seeking a Project Engineer-Structures to work independently on small projects and as a team member of larger projects under the guidance of a senior engineer. The Project Engineer-Structures will be able to evaluate systems and complete designs within the parameters established by their senior engineer.

Additional responsibilities include: Independently complete calculations and drawings for small projects, develop job-specific specifications for less complex projects, and coordinate

Competenze

• Requisite knowledge and application of structural design codes, standards, and applicable building codes.
• Strong knowledge of structural systems, seismic design, construction means and methods.
• Ability to communicate concepts to Architects, Engineers, and Owner clients effectively.
• Ability to manage time to meet project budget and schedule.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and in teams.

• Independently complete calculations and drawings for small projects.

• Coordinate with architectural, interior, and other engineering disciplines for project coordination.
• Perform construction administration duties including field observations, RFIs, submittal reviews, and evaluating contractor changes.
