Job summary

Stantec is seeking a highly accomplished Principal Structural Engineer to lead work on medium and large projects and to mentor a team of Structural Engineers in support of local and national initiatives.

You will evaluate, select, and specify engineered systems, oversee design development, and guide projects through critical milestones while ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requisite knowledge of structural design codes and building codes.
• Strong knowledge of structural systems; seismic and wind design.
• Experience with steel, concrete, wood framing and lateral systems.
• Experience with modeling software such as Revit.
• Ability to communicate concepts to Architects, Engineers and Owners.
• Ability to manage time to meet budget and schedule.
• Experience with industry standard structural engineering software.
• Valid driver''s license.
