Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Project Manager with a strong technical background to deliver exceptional service to clients in the dams, energy, fisheries, infrastructure and natural resources sectors.

The candidate should be a licensed PE with 12+ years of experience and a proven Seller-Doer, capable of guiding multi-discipline teams. As a primarily employee-owned firm, we value mentoring, ongoing learning, and business development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited university.
Master’s degree in structural engineering preferred.
15+ years of structural design experience, water-resource related work.
10+ years of project management experience preferred.
PE license required; SE license preferred; NCEES registration preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead in the preparation of complete project documents from design development reports through construction documents.
Independently evaluate, select, and apply advanced structural design techniques and criteria to projects.
Manage multi-discipline teams, assign tasks and direct engineers, technicians and staff.
Collect and analyze data via field investigations and review of as-built plans and reports.
Identify project opportunities and assist with proposals for professional services.
Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for projects.
Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships.
Evaluate and manage planning, design and construction support services.
