Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Structural Project Manager with a strong PE credential and 12+ years in water resources to lead project design across dams, energy, fisheries, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors.

The role emphasizes mentorship, proposal support, and client relationship development, within an employee-owned firm. Responsibilities include leading documents from design through construction, managing multi-discipline teams, and ensuring technical precision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited University.
• Master's degree in structural engineering preferred.
• 15+ years of structural design experience in water resources.
• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager preferred.
• PE License required; SE License preferred; NCEES registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the preparation of complete project documents from design development reports through construction documents.
• Independently evaluate, select, and apply advanced structural design techniques, procedures, and criteria to projects.
• Effectively manage multi-discipline teams, assign tasks and direct other engineers, technicians and administrative staff.
• Collect and analyze existing data by performing field investigations and reviewing as-built plans and reports.
• Identify project opportunities and assist with proposals for engineering projects or programs.
• Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for projects.
• Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships.
• Evaluate and manage planning, design and construction support services for projects.
