Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Structural Project Manager with a strong technical background and PE license to lead design and delivery across dams, energy, fisheries, infrastructure and natural resources markets.

The candidate will mentor team members, pursue business development, and manage projects from feasibility through commissioning, ensuring technical precision and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited University.
• Master's degree in structural engineering preferred.
• 15+ years of structural design experience in water resources.
• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager preferred.
• PE license required; SE license preferred; NCEES registration preferred.
• Knowledge of structural design codes and standards.
• Travel may be required (15%).
• Experience with hydro and hydro power projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the preparation of complete project documents from design development reports through construction documents.
• Independently evaluate, select, and apply advanced structural design techniques.
• Manage multi-discipline teams and direct engineers and staff.
• Perform field investigations and analyze existing structures to identify design criteria.
• Identify project opportunities and assist with proposals for engineering projects.
• Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for projects.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Evaluate planning, design, and construction support services.
