Job summary

LVI Associates in Austin is seeking a Senior Structural Project Manager to lead mission critical data center projects and shape the growth of the local team. You will manage scope, budget, and client relationships while staying closely connected to engineering.

The role emphasizes ownership of delivery, technical reviews, multidisciplinary coordination, and mentoring engineers. Data centers are central, but opportunities across manufacturing, healthcare, education and commercial sectors are

Qualifications

Licensed structural engineer with ownership of delivery and client relationships.
Degree in Civil, Architectural, or Structural Engineering; PE license preferred.
Typically six+ years of structural building design experience.
Experience leading projects, teams, or defined workstreams.
Strong knowledge of structural materials, codes, and design standards.
Experience with budgets, schedules, resources, and quality control.
Familiarity with BIM-based project delivery tools.

Responsibilities

Lead structural projects through planning, design, documentation, and construction.
Manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and financial performance.
Coordinate with architectural, MEP, civil, and other disciplines.
Provide technical reviews, coordination, and problem solving during construction.
Mentor engineers and contribute to delivery improvements.
Support proposals, fee development, and interviews.
