Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Data Center Engineering team.

Located in the USA, TX, Austin region, this role supports AMER and global projects with a focus on structural infrastructure strategy for our expanding data center footprint. You will work with a cross-disciplinary team to design resilient, cost-efficient structural systems, justify decisions to senior leadership, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities (data centers, etc.).
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods for data center equipment.

Responsibilities

• Create, review and release data center Structural Engineering improvements for next-gen designs.
• Provide feedback into Basis of Design, prototype design, and template specs for structural systems.
• Serve as technical advisor for AWS DC design projects including foundation and structural systems review.
