Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support multi-disciplinary design teams for power generation; lead structural aspects of complex projects and ensure engineering quality. Remote and hybrid options available across the U.S.

The ideal candidate has a P.E. license, extensive structural experience, and strong leadership abilities to guide teams through design, analysis, and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.

Responsibilities

• Support Nuclear Technical Lead and Department Manager with strategic resourcing initiatives.
• Supervise and lead a team of structural engineers through their development.
• Serve as Structural Lead/Engineering of Record on projects with deliverable responsibility.
• Lead improvements by updating standards/templates and evaluating software packages.
• Develop task lists with hours and schedules to support BD activities.
• Collaborate on equipment layouts, site layouts, and technical specifications.
