Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support our multi-disciplinary design team across energy projects, including power generation and nuclear initiatives.

This role emphasizes civil and structural design, leading projects as the discipline structural lead, and coordinating with specialists. Remote/hybrid work options are available, with occasional travel.

You will mentor engineers, improve standards, and contribute to life-cycle deliverables from feasibility to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license

Responsibilities

• Lead a structural engineering team through development of deliverables and design work.
• Serve as Structural Lead/Engineering of Record on projects.
• Develop task lists, hours estimates and schedules for business development.
• Contribute to group standards/templates and evaluate software/tools.
• Perform QA reviews of engineering work.
• Present engineered solutions at internal and client meetings, travel as needed.
