Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support a multi-disciplinary design team on power generation projects, including nuclear and stellarator initiatives. The candidate will lead structural work, develop specifications, and supervise engineers across a global footprint.

Responsibilities include managing design deliverables, coordinating multi-discipline efforts, and ensuring compliance with industry codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.

Responsibilities

• Support Nuclear Technical Lead and Department Manager with strategic resourcing initiatives.
• Supervise and lead a team of structural engineers through their development.
• Serve as Structural Lead/Engineering of Record on projects across energy facilities.
• Lead improvements in project efficiencies by standards/templates and software tools.
• Develop task lists with hours and schedules to support business development.
