Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks a senior structural engineer to join our East Coast team. You will lead design of building and facility projects, and act as the structural lead within a multidisciplinary group to meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited engineering degree, a Professional Engineer license, and 10+ years of relevant experience in building structures, construction documents, and design software including Revit and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.
Professional Engineer License.
10+ years of experience in building/facility structural engineering.
Experience with design and production of construction documents for structural systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the structural team to develop framing layouts, calculations, and construction documents.
Develop construction documents using Revit.
Design projects per client specs using appropriate software and tools.
Coordinate with internal and external teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Provide leadership and performance management to team members.
