Job summary
Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a talented structural engineer to join our firm. The engineer will be involved in the design of a wide variety of building / facility projects including commercial projects, as well as municipal, state and federal government structures.

Qualifications
- ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
- Professional Engineer license required.
- 4+ years of experience in building/facility structural engineering.
- Proficient with structural design codes and software for steel, concrete, masonry, timber.
- Experience producing construction documents.
- Knowledge of Revit or willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with RAM/ETABS/SAP2000 or similar.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
Responsibilities
- Support multidiscipline design team on structural projects.
- Perform framing layout, design calculations, and detailing for deliverables.
- Develop construction documents using Revit.
- Design to client specifications using design software.
- Prepare engineering documents for advertisement and construction.
- Coordinate with internal/external teams to meet deadlines and quality.
