Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a Technical Specialist to supervise designers and lead civil/structural deliverables from the PASADENA office. The role requires extensive experience, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/Microstation), and the ability to manage scope, schedule, and quality with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma is required.
• Experience: Requires 15+ years of relevant industrial experience in civil/structural drafting and design.
• Knowledge of AISC and ACI standard details.
• Ability to produce drawings for concrete and structural steel, and/or civil disciplines.
• Familiarity with company CAD drafting standards and design workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to deliver civil/structural designs and drawings.
• Review and mentor drafters for quality and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines for integrated layouts.
• Prepare man-hour estimates and cost/ schedule considerations.
• Ensure designs meet client specs and industry codes.
