Hargrove & Associates Inc. seeks a senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead complex design tasks in our Pasadena office. The role emphasizes code compliance, analysis software, and coordination with drafts and other disciplines.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of industrial experience, and PE registration is preferred. Strong leadership and construction drawing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in civil/structural engineering.
• Knowledge of IBC and related standards (ASCE, AISC, ACI).
• Experience with civil/structural analysis software and interpretation of results.
• Ability to lead teams and deliver on commitments.
• Genuine CAD capability with AutoCAD and/or Microstation.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete design of complex civil/structural engineering assignments.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
• Produce design calculations and construction drawings.
• Review vendor and discipline drawings for conformance.
• Provide technical guidance and lead cross-disciplinary coordination.
• Estimate and schedule professional service hours; monitor progress and quality.
