Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Pasadena is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer responsible for the complete design of complex civil/structural assignments. The role requires extensive experience and involves applying advanced engineering techniques under minimal supervision in the Pasadena office.

Ideal candidates will have a BS or MS in Civil Engineering, PE registration preferred, and 10+ years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of IBC/ASCE/AISC/ACI standards and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant civil/structural industrial experience.
• Knowledge of IBC/ASCE/AISC/ACI and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete design of complex civil/structural assignments.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
• Produce detail design calculations and drawings for construction materials.
• Check calculations for accuracy and conformance to codes and standards.
• Lead small to large project teams and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Provide field data collection and construction support as needed.
