Sure Steel, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication Project Manager to lead post-award execution of structural steel fabrication projects.

The role coordinates estimating, detailing, engineering, procurement, shop operations, QC, and field teams to align scope, procurement, fabrication sequencing, and delivery with contract requirements and client expectations. The position emphasizes cost control, schedule management, and client satisfaction, with risk monitoring and accountability across the project

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of project management experience in structural steel fabrication.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil or structural engineering, or related field; equivalent industry experience considered.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications and shop drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling tools such as MS Project; strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Oversee project setup, planning, and schedule alignment with detailing, procurement, fabrication, coatings and shipping.
• Coordinate in-house or third-party detailers; drive submittals and RFIs through approval cycles.
• Manage procurement, production release, and field coordination to meet erection needs.
• Track costs, forecast margins, and manage change orders; ensure timely invoicing and closeout.
• Maintain regular communication with GC, engineers, and stakeholders; ensure safety and quality standards.
