Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering and a PE license in at least one state.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably telecom/industrial infrastructure.
• Ability to obtain additional state PE licenses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design for telecom towers, monopoles, small-cell structures, foundations, and modifications.
• Provide technical direction, review, sign, and seal designs, and mentor other engineers.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to resolve fabrication and quality issues.
• Support new product development, testing, and design automation.
• Apply FEM/thermo analysis where appropriate and stay updated on codes.

We are seekingan accomplishedSenior Engineerto provide technicalleadershipacross macro towers, tower modifications, smallcell infrastructure, andstructural manufacturing. This role combinesstructural engineering,telecommunications, manufacturing, and field deploymenttodeliver safe, reliable, manufacturable, and cost-effective solutions.

Scope of Responsibility:

TheSenior Engineer willlead theanalysis, design, evaluation, modification, reinforcement, and manufacturabilityof telecommunications structures, including towers, monopoles, smallcell structures,antenna supports, equipmentmounts, foundations, and relatedcomponents. The rolealso supports productdevelopment, testing, manufacturingimprovements, and fieldactivities.

• Performand oversee structuralanalysis and designfor telecommunicationstowers, monopoles, smallcell structures, foundations, supports, and modifications.
• Independently evaluate andapply established engineeringmethods, procedures, anddesign criteria whiledeveloping practicaland innovative solutionsto complex engineeringchallenges.
• Evaluate existing structures, loading changes, siteconditions, and structuralcapacity.
• Design reinforcements, modifications, connections, foundations, and other structuralsolutions.
• Review, approve, sign,and seal engineeringdesigns, calculations,reports, and drawings, as applicable.
• Review engineering workand provide technicaldirection and mentoringto other engineers.
• Develop practical, cost-effective solutions thatbalance structural requirements, manufacturability, constructability, and customer needs.
• Support tower modification, reinforcement, erection, installation, and fieldactivities.
• Leadmoderate to complexengineering projects fromconcept through implementation.
• Partner with manufacturingand operations toresolve fabrication, assembly, quality, and productivityissues.
• Support new productdevelopment, testing programs, engineering tools, anddesign automation.
• ApplyFEA and thermalanalysis where appropriate.
• Develop engineering standards, procedures, calculationtools, standard details, andtraining materials.
• Serve as aSubject Matter Expert(SME)and provide technicalsupport to customersand cross-functionalteams.
• Stay currentwith structural codes, telecommunications standards, manufacturing technologies, and industry developments.

Position Requirements:

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree inStructural, MechanicalEngineering, or relatedfield.
• CurrentProfessional Engineer (PE)license in atleast one U.S. state.
• Ability to obtainadditional state PElicenses as required.

Experience

• 5+ years ofstructural engineeringexperience, preferably in telecommunications, structural steel, manufacturing, tower modification, orrelated infrastructure.
• Experience with telecommunicationstowers, monopoles, smallcell structures, equipmentsupports, and foundations.
• Experience evaluating existingstructures and designingmodifications or reinforcements.
• Experience with structuralsteel/aluminum fabricationor manufacturing preferred.
• Experience leading engineeringprojects and providingtechnical direction.
• Customer, contractor, field,or construction experienceis a plus.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge ofstructural analysis, loadpaths, stability, andsteel behavior.
• Knowledge of boltedand welded connectiondesign.
• Experience with telecommunicationstowers, antennas, mounts, equipment, and structuralattachments.
• Familiarity with towermodification, reinforcement, construction, and fieldinstallation.
• Experience structuralanalysis software.
• Proficiency withAutoCADand Microsoft Office.
• FEA and/orthermal analysis experienceis desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication,and organizational skills.
• Ability to workindependently and collaborateacross engineering, manufacturing, operations, construction, and customerteams.
• Strong technical leadership, mentoring, and projectmanagement capabilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Position works primarily in an office environment; however, occasionally required to travel to customer and vendor locations
• Ability to use hand tools for light assembly/modification of test and prototype articles for third party or in-house lab work.

• Must have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevantsources

• Approximately 10% travel is required.
