Job summary

RH2 Engineering is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead our Structural Engineering group across Bothell, Bellevue, Tacoma, and East Wenatchee, WA. Manage staff, oversee project design from concept to construction, and ensure technically accurate deliverables.

Requires PE license in WA or OR (SE a plus), 15–25 years in public-sector consulting, and strong leadership and communication skills. Collaboration across offices and client service are core expectations.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited university, structural emphasis.
• 15–25 years of transferrable experience, preferably in public sector consulting.
• Washington or Oregon P.E. license; SE license preferred; ability to obtain both licenses if needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead RH2's structural engineering group, setting priorities and allocating resources.
• Design wood, masonry, steel, aluminum and concrete structures for water/wastewater projects.
• Provide QA/QC review of drawings and calculations.
• Develop design drawings, specs and cost estimates; act as project manager.
• Lead marketing and client outreach; mentor staff and oversee multiple offices.
