Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in our Denver, CO office. You will provide technical expertise for diverse structural engineering activities, lead design efforts, review calculations, and mentor staff as we build a Denver team. Requirements include a B.S.

or M.S. in Engineering, 10–15 years of experience, strong writing/communication, and experience with concrete, steel, timber, and design software (RISA, RAM, RAM Concept, SAP). A PE and SE license are required.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Engineering required or equivalent.
• PE and SE licensure required; MS preferred.
• 10–15 years experience in structural engineering.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and set objectives; organize and execute assignments.
• Perform quality control checks on calculations, designs, and specs.
• Review work of staff; conduct on-site inspections and remedial design work.
• Mentor and train new hires; coordinate with multiple offices and staff.
