Job summary

Studio|LB in Aspen, CO is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design and delivery of innovative structural projects across a diverse portfolio, including commercial, institutional, and architecturally significant work.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with architects, owners, and contractors, and guide projects from concept through construction, applying rigorous engineering judgment to deliver high-performing, safe, and resilient buildings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural/Civil/Architectural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required; SE license preferred.
8+ years of structural engineering experience with leadership and PM responsibilities.
Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and foundations.
Proficiency in Revit and structural software; ability to review designs.

Responsibilities

Lead structural engineering projects from proposal through construction completion.
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, profitability, and overall project performance.
Serve as the primary client contact and trusted technical advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
Forecast workloads and coordinate staffing to support successful project delivery.
Monitor project financial performance, including billing and profitability.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Facilitate project meetings and maintain effective communication among stakeholders.
