Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary practice in an Associate-level leadership role in Los Angeles.

This position blends technical leadership, project management, client engagement, and mentorship while supporting the regional team's growth. You will lead structural projects, oversee delivery, develop proposals, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of structural engineering experience with significant project or team leadership.
  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline.
  • Active PE and/or SE license.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary practice in an Associate-level leadership role. This position combines technical leadership, project management, client engagement, and mentorship while supporting the continued growth of the regional team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead structural engineering projects across a variety of sectors and project scales.

Oversee project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and coordination.

Develop proposals, fee estimates, and project strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.

Build strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Provide technical guidance and participate in reviews of drawings, specifications, and reports.

Mentor and support the development of engineers and project teams.

Contribute to business development, pursuit efforts, and identifying opportunities for future work.

Represent the firm at client meetings and relevant professional or industry events.

Qualifications

10+ years of structural engineering experience, including significant project or team leadership.

Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.

Active PE and/or SE license.

Strong project management and client relationship skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Interest and experience in business development and work-winning.
