Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Power and Industrial Engineering team in Bothell, WA or Exton, PA, with flexibility for other US locations near AtkinsRéalis offices. You will lead civil and structural design for complex power generation facilities, including foundations, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, constructible solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably in power generation.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural design for power generation facilities including foundations and buildings.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards and AtkinsRéalis policies.
• Coordinate design activities to support project schedules and delivery.
• Prepare project specifications and support site/QA activities.
