Job summary

SolveNow Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional in the Northeast US for a hybrid/remote role.

The candidate will perform significant structural analysis and design work for diverse projects, collaborating with the lead engineers and designers to deliver high-quality documents and models. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years of experience, a PE license, and strong knowledge of IBC/ASCE 7/ACI/AISC, plus experience leading teams and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer License (PE) is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Proficiency with US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
• Proficiency with structural analysis software, Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading small teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform substantial structural analysis and design for projects.
• Develop design concepts and complete analysis and design work.
• Collaborate with Structural Lead, Engineers, and Designers to communicate structural requirements.
• Lead medium-sized projects or act as Sub Lead on larger projects.
• Mentor designers/drafters and other engineers; improve workflows and tools.
