Job summary

Stellar, headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, is a fully integrated firm focusing on design, construction, architecture, engineering, and mechanical services worldwide for over 30 years. Stellar seeks a Structural Engineer to analyze, design and document structural scope for safe, functional projects.

You will develop detailed plans, perform calculations, ensure code compliance, and coordinate with architects, contractors, and others while conducting site visits and preparing reports for meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of science in Civil/Structural/Architectural Eng; master’s preferred.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain required.
• Experience with RAM, FEM, Enercalc or similar software.
• 5+ years in structural engineering; steel, concrete, masonry experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed plans and specs for structures meeting criteria and safety standards.
• Perform complex calculations, oversee drawings, and prepare specs.
• Ensure code compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and assess existing structures.
• Prepare reports, review submittals, attend owner/project meetings.
• Assist in integrating structural solutions into overall design.
