Job summary

MSA Professional Services is seeking a Project Engineer – Structural to lead the planning and design of building structures for municipalities and infrastructure clients. This hybrid on-site role can be based out of our Jacksonville or Sarasota, FL offices.

You will design structures, perform calculations, develop construction documents, and coordinate with architecture, civil, and MEP teams while ensuring code compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required.
• Structural engineering emphasis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for municipal, water, wastewater, waterfront, parks and recreation, and other infrastructure and building projects.
• Perform and review structural calculations for steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and other systems.
• Develop structural plans, details, specifications, reports, and construction documents.
• Coordinate designs with multiple disciplines and ensure QA/QC.
