Job summary

Civil Design Inc. in the Midwest seeks a Structural Building Engineer Project Manager to lead complex building projects, sign/seal documents, and coordinate with design teams. This role offers ESOP participation, flexible work options, and a collaborative culture dedicated to Building Stronger Communities.

Based in Jefferson City, MO or nearby, the position requires PE licensure, 8+ years of building design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing structural engineering projects by creating scope and budgets, directing the design, and coordinating work with other staff and design team members.
• Being responsible as the Engineer of Record for project success, signing/sealing calculations and construction documents as required.
• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures
• Serving as a key point of contact with clients, contractors, and local officials.
• Displaying an eagerness to work on a wide variety of project types.
• Assisting in the preparation of engineering project proposals.
• Working collaboratively with the CDI Operations Leader, Project Development Leader, Project Engineers, and other team members to deliver projects on schedule and budget.
• Ensuring compliance with CDI's safety procedures.
