Job summary

Civil Design Inc is seeking a Structural Building Engineer Project Manager to lead building structure design efforts and coordinate with site development teams in Collinsville, IL and surrounding areas. The role involves signing/sealing documents as the Engineer of Record and ensuring project deliverables meet schedule and budget targets.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in civil/structural engineering, a PE license, IL structural engineer licensure, and 8+ years of building

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (a plus but not required).
• Registered PE.
• IL Structural Engineer licensure.
• 8+ years plus of building design experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing structural engineering projects by creating scope and budgets, directing the design, and coordinating work with other staff and design team members.
• Being responsible as the Engineer of Record for project success, signing/sealing calculations and construction documents as required.
• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures
• Serving as a key point of contact with clients, contractors, and local officials.
• Displaying an eagerness to work on a wide variety of project types.
• Assisting in the preparation of engineering project proposals.
• Working collaboratively with the CDI Operations Leader, Project Development Leader, Project Engineers, and other team members to deliver projects on schedule and budget.
• Ensuring compliance with CDI's safety procedures.
