SSOE is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer and Office Leader in Austin, TX to shape the structural backbone of advanced semiconductor facilities and lead the local engineering team. You will mentor engineers, manage complex projects, and represent the firm with clients and stakeholders, leveraging BIM and FEA tools, while promoting an innovative, collaborative office culture with hybrid work.

Qualifications

• PE license in the U.S. required; SE license highly desirable.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience in semiconductor/high-tech facilities.
• Experience leading office leadership and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for complex high-tech projects from concept through construction.
• Provide technical leadership to internal project teams and ensure quality documents.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Stay current with codes and industry practices; update firm standards.
• Represent the firm with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
• Drive office culture, development, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
