SSOE seeks a Senior Structural Engineer and Office Leader in Hillsboro, OR to guide complex semiconductor facilities and lead the local structural team. You will direct technical design, mentor engineers, manage client relations, and advance office culture and project delivery in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of structural experience, PE license, strong leadership, and hands-on BIM/FEA proficiency, with a track record in design-build delivery for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program.
• Active PE license in good standing; SE license desirable.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience in semiconductor/high-tech facilities.
• Proven leadership in managing internal design teams and office leadership.
• Excellent communication, client-facing skills and mentorship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for complex, large-scale high-tech projects from concept to construction support.
• Provide day-to-day oversight to internal teams and ensure high-quality documents.
• Lead development of structural systems, including frames and load-bearing elements.
• Oversee advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software.
• Mentor junior staff and stay current with codes and technologies.
• Coordinate cross-discipline collaboration and support business development.
