SSOE seeks a Senior Structural Engineer and Office Leader in Austin to guide structural design for cutting-edge semiconductor facilities and lead the local office culture. You will mentor engineers, manage client relationships, and shape project delivery in a fast-growing high-tech sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Active PE or SE licensure preferred; leadership and client interaction experience valued.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience in semiconductor/high-tech facilities.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills for office leadership role.
• Experience with design-build delivery and multi-discipline coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering design for complex, large-scale semiconductor projects.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership to internal teams and ensure high-quality construction documents.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide career growth.
• Represent the firm with clients, officials, and partners; drive office growth.
• Stay current with codes and technologies; develop and maintain design standards.
