Job summary

Centrus Energy seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead engineering development and field execution of facility modifications at the American Centrifuge Plant (ACP) in Piketon, Ohio. The role focuses on structural steel, foundations, and equipment supports, ensuring regulatory compliance from design to turnover.

You will bridge design concepts with field realities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to uphold safety and quality in a high-stakes nuclear environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 5+ years of experience in structural design, analysis, and field support, preferably in regulated environments.
• Strong working knowledge of AISC, ACI, and seismic/building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural design for site modifications and analyses (static, dynamic loads).
• Develop and review design packages for foundations, structural steel, and equipment anchorage.
