Job summary

Centrus Energy in Piketon, Ohio, seeks a Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead engineering development and oversee safety-critical facility modifications from design to turnover.

You will drive analyses for static and dynamic loads, develop foundations and anchorage packages, and coordinate with MEP teams to ensure buildable, compliant solutions.

A BS in Civil/Structural Eng (ABET) and 5+ years of regulated-environment experience; ability to obtain a Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years' experience in structural design, analysis, and field support.
• Knowledge of AISC, ACI, and seismic/building codes.
• Ability to obtain a Q security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural design and analysis for site modifications.
• Develop design packages for foundations, structural steel, and anchorage.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams.
• Support field construction, RFI/RFC, and as-built updates.
