Job summary

IMEG Corp. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves leading project teams, coordinating design efforts, and ensuring compliance with IMEG standards while building strong client relationships.

You will mentor staff, contribute to business development opportunities, and manage schedules and budgets across complex structures, including high-performance and sustainable projects. A PE license and 10+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
• MS in Structural Engineering preferred.
• PE license required.
• 10+ years of experience in building design consulting.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee and manage projects; act as point of contact for teams and clients.
• Collaborate with BD staff, PMs, Client Executives, and Market Directors during project opportunities.
• Assist with design scopes, fee calculations and proposal/bid reviews.
• Create project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Prepare monthly billings and update projections and completion percentages.
• Ensure designs follow owner and IMEG standards and QC processes.
• Lead meetings and document progress across phases of design and construction.
• Participate in interviews and project presentations.
• Address client concerns, manage change orders and approvals.
• Mentor and develop staff; build client relationships.
