Job summary

You will collaborate with the Structural Lead, Engineers, and Designers to develop concepts, complete analyses, and translate requirements into design documents and models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience
• Proficient with US building codes: IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC
• Proficient with structural analysis software: Navisworks and Bluebeam
• Experience leading small teams

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design with minimal supervision
• Plan and conduct work using engineering judgement and criteria
• Apply wind and seismic provisions from building codes
• Check own work and perform peer reviews for quality
• Manage workload, meet schedules, budgets, and quality goals
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff
• Lead workflows and adopt new tools within the structural discipline
