Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies invites a Structural Engineering Professional Intermediate for a 7‑month hybrid/remote role in the USA Southwest region (AZ). You will assist in structural analysis, design development, and coordination with disciplines.

The role emphasizes building code experience, design documentation, and client deliverables. You will grow in fundamentals and gain exposure to multiple structural topics, taking on increasing responsibility and contributing to project success within

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering (minimum).
Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering.
Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI and AISC.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Perform conventional structural engineering analysis and design under supervision.
Develop engineering judgment in evaluation and adaptation of techniques and criteria.
Communicate with Structural Lead and team to reflect requirements in drawings and models.
Apply knowledge of lateral analysis (wind and seismic) and relevant codes.
Ensure high attention to detail and quality control; check your own work.
