Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Structural Engineer in Boise, ID to work independently on small/medium projects and lead teams on larger endeavors. You will evaluate systems, specify engineered products, and ensure design integrity across disciplines.

Requirements include 8+ years of experience, a PE license, and Revit expertise. The role emphasizes client service, timely delivery, and adherence to codes and standards, with full-time on-site hours in Boise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required, Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineering and Structural Engineering license are required.
• Experience with modeling software Autodesk Revit.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with CSI, RISA, RAM or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete calculations and drawings for small and medium projects.
• Lead junior engineers in complex projects.
• Coordinate with architectural, interiors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform Construction Administration duties including RFIs, submittal reviews, and change orders.
• Perform calculations using company standard software and proprietary tools.
• Communicate design issues with the design team and owner clients.
• Understand industry standard design processes and construction means and methods.
• Deliver projects on time and on budget while maintaining client service.
• Assist with development of design standards.
