Job summary

Eppstein Uhen Architects Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and construction document production, mentoring staff, and ensuring technical excellence on complex projects.

You will manage multiple projects, lead client communications, and support business development while upholding codes and standards. A PE license and extensive experience in steel and concrete design are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural/Civil Engineering with emphasis on structural engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; SE license is a plus.
• Ten+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with steel and concrete design; masonry/wood is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and structural engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural planning, design, engineering, and construction document production.
• Provide technical mentoring and ensure quality standards across the team.
• Manage multiple projects from inception to completion and communicate objectives clearly.
• Develop proposals and assist in contract drafting and client relations.
